“Exploring One’s Soccuality”: The search for a club to support
Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
Tuesday Sep 27, 2022
This week the Sam’s don’t have any prem action to discuss, because the players were away on international duty, so we welcomed our good friend Nicole back into the studio to discuss the search for a club of her own. This round of “Exploring One’s Soccuality”: the search for a club to support. This round of dating is down to Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Brentford, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham Forest. Nicole realizes one team may be very easy to look at but their footy is hard to watch. She says farewell to that club with her first shot of Malort.
At least she had the Adnams Rye Malt to wash away the bad taste as the boys found the final missing piece of the Whisky Advocate 2019 list for the Top 20 Whiskeys.
Whose Kit will she wear next year? Stay tuned.

The boys take a second to welcome Paul from the Stateside Seagulls to discuss all things Brighton. Big Sam’s toffees and Mel’s Villa both get wins making it a no Malort Monday. ”The Whole System is Corrupt” Premier League matchweek 6
Tuesday Sep 06, 2022
Tuesday Sep 06, 2022
So much happened over the weekend! The Merseyside Derby more than delivered, despite the lack of goals. Mel’s Villa earned a scrappy point with City, but unfortunately the attention is once again VAR. Bad officiating caused over half a dozen incidents, which affected outcomes, like Newcastle and West Ham, who were robbed of goals. Speaking of goals, Brentford, Leeds, Bournemouth, Forest, Brighton, and Leicester accounted for 19 of them. Big Sam surprises Graham with the Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond which was #4 from the Whiskey Advocate Top 20 from 2019.

Premier League matchweek 5: ”Wolves Have No Natural Predator”
Friday Sep 02, 2022
Friday Sep 02, 2022
The Sam’s are called into double duty this week as there were mid-week matches. Liverpool won at the death, the teams at the bottom are digging themselves a bigger whole. Arsenal remains perfect and Haaland scores another hat trick for City. The boys are over zoom and each drinking their own whiskey, some more than the other. This show is long and goes off the rails, as it’s Graham’s annual drunken transfer recap. It is exactly what it says it is Graham drinks, a lot… I mean a whole lot, like way more than normal. Then he proceeds to read the list of all the comings and goings of the prem as Huston tries to wrangle him in and keep Graham to task. This section is after the regular show if you do not want to listen, you’ve been warned. It is a drunk guy reading a list of names.

This week the Sam’s open with goals… lots of goals, like 9 of them and it wasn’t Southampton. City and Liverpool hammer both Palace and Bournemouth respectively. The north London clubs occupy 2 spots in the top 3 as neither have lost. Oh-So didn’t offer much as frankly, the matches were dull. No fear, the Sam’s found plenty to joke about.
They enjoyed a little Westward Pinot Noir finished American Single Malt.

This week the Sam’s open with the instant classic between Newcastle and Man City, along with Arsenal's rise to top of the league and Leeds amazing victory over Chelsea. They welcome their good friend Nicole into the studio who’s “exploring her options” as to choosing a club. There were a couple of Derby’s as Man U and Fulham took care of Liverpool and Brentford. Only producer Mel found herself partaking in Malort this week. They all enjoyed the Stout finish from Westward American Single Malt.

This week the Sam’s open with a hearty laugh as Brentford embarrassed Man United 4-0 and Forest get their first premier league win in 23 years. They also look each other in the eyes as they discuss the Spurs/Chelsea draw along with Arsenal win and Palace’s draw at Liverpool. Big Sam had to endure some Malört but he at least got to enjoy it with a Whopper with Pope (apparently it’s how the kids like it) and they discuss all the action from this weekend’s Prem. This week we are sipping on Westward American Single Malt because whiskey needs to be back in our lives!

They open with the newly promoted sides as Bournemouth won, Fulham drew Liverpool and Nottingham Forest couldn’t manage a single shot on goal. Next they discuss the complete opposite directions the two Manchester clubs are going in City dominate with new signing Erling Haaland and United are a mess losing to Brighton yet again.
