This week Big Sam is joined by Alan and Hiram as they open with Wolves' massive upset of Man City. Not to be outdone, Luton got their first win at the expense of Everton. Villa is flying over Brighton and 9-man Liverpool gets bet at the death by Spurs. Arsenal moved a small step closer with an easy win over Bournemouth, while Alan and Hiram are happy with simple 2-0 victories for both Newcastle and Chelsea. The crew enjoyed a single barrel wheat whiskey from Kinsey.

Plymouth dropped 6 on Norwich and Wednesday are still looking for their first win. Portsmouth now sit undefeated and top of league 1 as Reading and Wigan both sit in relegation. Wrexham concedes 5 goals in a loss while fellow promoted side Notts County is still in first place of league 2.

This week Big Sam is joined by Hiram and Rob as they open with the North London Derby with Arsenal and Tottenham drawing 2-2. Big Sam is amazed that Everton got a win and Mel’s Villa blanked Hiram’s Chelsea for which he had to do a shot of Malört. Brighton and Liverpool got impressive 3-1 victories, City won easily but with a massive cost, and it was easier to read off the 5 players who did score or get an assist than it was to mention all those who did for Newcastle in their 8-0 victory. The crew enjoyed Sweetens Cove Kennessee Whiskey finished in toasted sugar maple barrels.

DU does English Football League: WEEK 7
Wednesday Sep 20, 2023
Wednesday Sep 20, 2023
This week Alan and Hiram join the show as they open with Leeds huge win at Millwall as they rarely win in London. It may not have been 9-0 but Leicester still thumped Southampton. In League 1 Pompey remains the only unbeaten club as Exeter and Port Vale sit at the top of the league. Accy got a big win in League 2 and Wrexham are now in the top 4, but Big Sam and Alan “educate” Hiram on the past of a former Crowley Town manager. The boys enjoyed Wild Turkey’s Decade One as it was a bottle-killing night.

This week Big Sam is joined by Alan and Hiram this week as they open City and Liverpool's comeback from 1-0 at that half to run away with victory. The crew enjoyed a unicorn bottle the Old Fitzgerald 11-year-old Bottle in Bond.

League 2 had a bar burner with Swindon winning 5-3 over Sutton. Wrexham gets a second win in a row and moves into the top 10. Alan was enjoying a little tequila while Big Sam had Four Roses small batch but really Big Sam had more than half of a 99 party bucket, as it was his turn to do the infamous Drunken Transfer Recap!

DU does English Football League: WEEK 4
Wednesday Aug 30, 2023
Wednesday Aug 30, 2023
Leeds finally got a win and began to show some consistency. The Foxes sit atop the table but OMG that goal for Birmingham to win at the death. Wigan suffered their first loss in League 1, Graham is happy an “educated” side is top of the league and both Sam’s are astatic that Pompey remains undefeated. Accy won again in League 2 as Ben Foster retired (again) from Wrexham.
