The EFL’s already a couple of weeks in, and the tables are shaking up fast. Stoke have shocked everyone by climbing to the top of the Championship alongside Boro and West Brom. At the same time, Pompey sit mid-table with an early win, and Wrexham is quickly learning you actually need to defend in this league.
League One sees Stevenage sitting pretty at the top while giants Plymouth, Peterborough, and Reading languish at the bottom with 0-0-3 starts. In League Two, Chesterfield and Crewe Alexandra are both undefeated, while favorites Accrington Stanley stumble yet again out of the gate.
And of course, Sam checks in on Morecambe — with the club’s very survival hanging in the balance.

The Premier League season is back, and the DU Football Show is fired up! Liverpool’s emotional win over Bournemouth and Arsenal’s gutsy victory at Old Trafford set the tone, while Spurs, Sunderland, and Forest also impressed on the opening weekend. A handful of dull draws left fans with more questions than answers, and Big Sam kicked off the season with a shot of Malört as his club pulled an “Everton That.”
