The top spot in the championship changes almost every day but in the end, Sunderland still finds themselves on top. Leeds handed the Blades their first loss of the season, and Burnley seems to be righting the ship. Birmingham and Wrexham keep winning at the top of League 1 but Reading is on a three-game run as well. Finally, Accy are winning in League 2 and have gotten themselves out of the bottom. Port Vale find themselves in the top spot but plenty of teams are on their tails.

They also saw a bunch of red cards, which changed the match for one of the top sides, including Arsenal, who suffered their first defeat. Mansfield Town shot up to 3rd in League 1 as Reading, Bolton, and Wigan got key wins. Speaking of key wins Accy is finally on the board in League 2. West Brom is still at the top of the championship despite losing to Wednesday, but the race is tight as only 3 points separate 1st through 7th with many familiar faces. Birmingham City now controls the top spot over Wrexham after the O’s pulled off a stunning draw against the Welsh side. Accy just can’t get any luck as they slip to the bottom of all professional football and Graham’s nemesis Gillingham is at the top of League 2 again.

This week, the Sam’s open with the brawl that happened to be a soccer match between Arsenal and City. The match was so intense, they spent the first 40 minutes of the show debating. Then the guys get into eight clubs that they can’t seem to figure out in the second segment. Mel’s Villa has another comeback victory, and Big Sam’s Toffees are finally on the board, but the monsoon was the bigger talking point. Since they are over Zoom the boys enjoy a couple of old favorite whiskies.

Highlights from the rest of the English Football League.
In recent Championship action, Plymouth delivered a surprising 3-0 defeat to Sunderland, while West Brom also secured a 3-0 victory over Portsmouth, propelling them to the top of the table. Burnley's 1-0 win against Leeds at Elland Road moved them into fourth place, just behind Blackburn, with Watford and Sheffield United completing the playoff spots. Leeds, suffering their first loss of the season, dropped to ninth. Hull, Portsmouth, and Cardiff are in the relegation zone, though the gap to safety is just three points up to 12th place. In League One, Wrexham leads, despite Stockport drawing their last two games, with Charlton and Huddersfield moving ahead of Stockport. Leyton Orient secured their first win against Reading but remain in 22nd, with Shrewsbury, Cambridge, and Bolton also in the relegation spots. Huddersfield and Wigan each enjoyed 4-0 wins over Bolton and Bristol Rovers, respectively. In League Two, Accrington Stanley is still searching for their first win after a loss to Crewe Alexandra, while Gillingham slipped to second place behind Notts County despite a recent win. Promoted teams Chesterfield and Bromley are in 11th and 15th places, respectively, after recent matches.

Chelsea and United get wins while they still try to figure out who clubs like Palace, Brighton, and Fulham are. Everyone was in different locations, so there was a bevy of beverages.
