EPL week 3: “A bunch of Screamers”
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
Tuesday Aug 27, 2019
Sam Huston and Sam Graham recap week three of the English Premier League. Everton lost to Aston Villa, so Big Sam owes 4 shots of Malort for a pre-season bet. Joining him in his misery, a special fan calls in for his first shot of “Mike Ashley in a bottle”. Man U is still a sh!t show, we have your predictions, and Jamie F’ing Vardy goes on a date. Sit back, relax, grab a drink and enjoy! First Segment Liverpool 3 – Arsenal 1 Man City 3- Bournemouth 1 Crystal Palace 2 – Man U 1 Newcastle 1 – Spurs 0 Chelsea 3 – Norwich 2 Second Segment Wolves 1 – Burnley 1 West Ham 3 – Watford 1 Leicester 2 – Sheffield United 1 Southampton 2 – Brighton 0 Aston Villa 2 – Everton - Zippy Get involved: Send your questions to DUfootballshow@gmail.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow Twitter @DUfootballshow THE HOSTS sam Huston was a goalkeeper for 25 years, so he’s been hit in the head a lot. Professionally he is an expert in the liquor business, but for fun he yells at men from the sidelines and calls it coaching. Huston has been an Everton fan for about ten years, so he shaves his head to look like Tim Howard. He is very much aware that he has a great voice, and he once played the Big Bopper in the musical Buddy Holly. Huston’s style is influenced by the DC area talk radio of the 90’s and early 2000’s. oh, and he was once a parade. sam Graham has been playing soccer for 30 years and counting, but he’s been running his mouth for over 33 years. Professionally he is in the wine and spirits industry, but for fun, he lets Coach Huston yell at him once a week while he’s on the pitch. He might be getting “too old for this shit” but he still can’t resist the excitement of the game, and the thrill of a red card. Graham is an Arsenal supporter since ’02 and has the tattoos to prove it. He really knows his football, and has been preparing for this podcast through years of shit talking at pubs.

EPL week 1: “4-yr-old Temper Tantrum”
Tuesday Aug 13, 2019
Tuesday Aug 13, 2019
It’s the second season of the Drunkard United football show and Sam Huston and Sam Graham are here with their biased recap of the English Premier soccer league. They start with Chelsea vs Man United, then they indulge themselves with Arsenal vs New Castle and Everton vs Crystal Palace. Rounding out the recaps with Aston vs the Spurs, Liverpool vs Norwich, West ham vs Man City, Brighton vs Watford, Leicester city vs Wolves, Bournemouth vs Sheffield The bottle of Jeppson’s Malort is back to scorn the losers. This week’s target is a Huston, but it’s not Sam. Producer Mel does a shot for Aston Villa’s loss to the Spurs. For predictions, who is better at picking games this week? Huston? Graham? A 4th grader? Or the Chicken?
