DU Football Show

This week the Sam’s discuss the final week of the season that saw Liverpool and Chelsea finish in Champions League. It also saw Leicester and West Ham gain Europa status and Tottenham qualifying for the new Europa Conference. Big Sam had to drink a little Malort as Everton where demolished by champions Man City. Graham wins the fantasy league, while Pat and Kitty outdo both the host in betting. They enjoy a classic Cup Cocktail but with New Columbia’s Summer Cup from Washington DC instead of the traditional Pimm’s.

This week the Sam’s have double duty with a set of mid-week fixtures. The champions league spot is down to Chelsea, Leicester and Liverpool.  Both Sam’s clubs, Arsenal and Everton, have Europa to play for. They all go big on their final bet of the season and fantasy is down to three teams.   The Sams also check in with famed Groundsman Ben Kay and chat about his FA cup experience at Wembley
 
The Sam’s each enjoy Gin and Tonics, Graham with a local gin and Big Sam with a gin that was great in concept but not in execution.

This week in, full premier league coverage, the Sam’s start with Newcastle’s big upset over Leicester City. They also get in the race for Europe, as relegation has been decided with both West Brom and Fulham losing. They enjoy the being named best sports show by the Maryland Podcast Awards, but what they really want to know is who got more votes for best host, although neither of them won best host.

This week the Sam’s open with a pair of Derbies for two of the clubs at the bottom of the table. They discuss the postponement of the Man U match and Producer Mel pours Big Sam a shot of Humility in the form of Malort. This Gin Binge was Hendricks Lunar with Fever Tree Aromatic Tonic.
