Onto the weekend where Bielsa coaches his final match at Leeds and everyone but Man City wonder why a handball wasn’t given to Everton. This week the Sam’s are joined stat boy David! They open with Spurs massive win over City and the Roses Rivalry was end to end as well. Watford, Burnley and Newcastle all got points as the relegation tightens up. Producer Mel has two shots of Malort in store for her as Graham enjoys watching everyone in the room do a shot but himself with the Gunners win. The Sam’s enjoy the #12 Whisky from Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 of 2021 Ardnamurchan, a highland single malt. Let’s me nice and just say it wasn’t Big Sam’s best effort…

The Sam’s start with the two-horse race at the top of the Premier League as Man City continue to roll and Liverpool keep pace. Newcastle gets another massive home victory this time over Producer Mel’s Villa. Big Sam is happy with Everton’s dismantling of Leeds and Southampton and Wolverhampton maybe the two most in form clubs. The Top 20 list from Whisky Advocate finds us on number 13 the Arran barrel reserve.

The Sam’s cover the mid-week games with a ton of goals as Villa and Leeds have a 3-3 draw and Southampton owns Spurs. The bottom of the table is getting tighter as Newcastle’s win brings long standing Everton into the muck. The top two get solid wins and Man United is a mess. Speaking of messes, we got Graham good and sozzled so he could drunkenly recap the transfers for our amusement. The boys enjoy #14 from whiskey advocates top 20 Bib and Tucker Bourbon. This week the Sam’s recap the FA Cup’s 4th round and the major upset when Boreham Wood went into the Vitality and shocked Bournemouth. Not to be out done, Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forrest knocked of Premier League giants Manchester United and Leicester City. Big Sam is thrilled as Everton’s new manager, Frank Lampard, brought them to a convincing win over Brentford. Of course, there was a lone Premier League match, as Burnley and Watford battled to a 0-0 draw. The boys continue their top 20 list from Whisky Advocate with #15 Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt.

The 3rd round of the FA Cup didn’t disappoint, lots of upsets and the Sam’s enjoy Whiskey Advocates #19 whiskey of 2021 Wheel Horse Bourbon. Hartlepool, Kidderminister, Boreham Wood, Cambridge and Nottingham Forrest all knock off bigger clubs including Grahams Gunners. Producer Mel’s Villa feel out to Man U yet somehow Big Sam Everton managed to advance. There was also a 9 goal barn burner between two unexpected sides.
