This week is a long one but a good one, the Sam’s do their 20 clubs preview super show as they chat with supporters for most the clubs from all over the world (yes, we aren’t joking). It’s a lovely overview of the entire league with all our closest supporters and it’s the comprehensive breakdown of each club… their signings and departures and expectations on the season. Tons of #Bantz.. the Sam’s go back to drinking whisky (minus the e) as they enjoy a rare single barrel pick from Glenallachie a 13 year barrel proof from Scotland.

This week the Sam’s chat with Mark a Nottingham Forest supporter originally from England but now in Austin. Forest much like Austin was made for hipsters. The boys have a great chat from the days of back-to-back European Titles (shocker that gets mentioned) to the present-day spending spree. They “gin binge” continues with Benham’s Sonoma County gin and fever tree tonic.

This week the Sam’s continue their “Getting to know you” series with Zack who supports AFC Bournemouth. They discuss all thin Cherries and how a truly small club has made it back to the premier league, continue to grow the academy and the plan to stay up. The Sam’s also really want Zack to be their laugh track for all shows. They enjoyed a classic Gin and Tonic with Plymouth Gin and Jack Rudy’s Tonic Syrup.

The Sam’s are back and it’s time for “getting to know you” as they chat with supporters of each of the newly promoted clubs. First up their good buddy Jason with one of the Big Sam’s favorite supporters groups Fulham in the South (FITS for short). Fulham are back with a vengeance as they sliced through the Championship due, in part, to Mitro’s record setting 43 goals. The big question is have they done enough to improve the side to stave of relegation or will they yo-yo yet again. The boys bring back the gin binge with Citadel Jardin D’ete gin with Betty Buzz tonic water.

This week the Sam’s break out their preseason predictions to see how badly they got it wrong. They follow that up by saying goodbye to Burnley as Brett joins the show to discuss the Claret relegation and the future for the club. Then they discuss the Championship playoff that sees Nottingham Forest see promotion for the first time in over twenty years. Regrettably the Sam’s discuss pitch invasions and stadium security again as France got it all wrong this weekend. Graham gets to randomly give Big Sam four shots of Malört as punishment for losing the betting segment this season. At least he had a refreshing gin and tonic to wash it down made with Hendrick's Neptuna Gin and Fever Tree Tonic Water.

For the final week of the season the Sam’s are just trying to keep up with all the craziness the Premier League provided. It starts on Thursday as Everton comeback from 2-0 down in the second half to defeat Crystal Palace 3-2 and secure safety for the club. Sunday kicks off all matches at the same time with City and Leeds fighting for the title, Tottenham and Spurs vying for the last Champions League position. Finally, Burnley and Leeds seek to find survival in the prem. The Sam’s continue the Gin Binge with Hararhorn Gin from Norway with Fever Tree tonic water.

A bonus show as the Sam’s and Mel chat about the uprising in Pitch Invasions. While on its face value a joyous occasion but you look closer to reveal the ugliness of some supporters. They chat about the what’s and the why’s surrounding the invasions and what can the league, teams and even us as supporters should do and are obligated to. This one got to Big Sam and really wanted to have a separate discussion about it from the regular show.

This week the Sam’s have a lot to cover first at the top of the table City still sits on top of the table despite a draw with West Ham. Then to the race for champions league with Tottenham destroying Arsenal in the North London Derby. It was so bad for Arsenal that a certain host couldn’t handle his shot of Malort and may have vacated the studio. Attention then shifted to the bottom of the table as a surprise guest enters the studio.
The Whiskey list is completed the Sam’s switch to their favorite the Gin Binge with Starlight Gin and Q Tonic water.

This week the Sam’s open with the action at the top of the Premier League. Liverpool’s title chances took a big blow with a draw to Tottenham which makes Spurs North London Derby for the rights to Champions League as Arsenal continue their winning ways. Everton get themselves out of the relegation zone with a massive win couple with loses by Burnley and Leeds. Finally Man United get embarrassed on the road to Brighton. The Sam’s finish the Top 20 of 2021 from Whiskey Advocate with Lagavulin 11 year old Offerman Edition!
