DU is back with your weekly recap and commentary of English Premier league football. This week Graham laments Arsenal’s loss in the North London Derby, which Big Sam reminds him of multiple times throughout the show. The top of the table is, well, starting to look like a normal season. In a rare turn everyone’s bet hits but one. The boys enjoy some Four Roses Small Batch, the number 3 whiskey on Whiskey Advocates Top 20 from 2019.

This week the boys are back together and surprise they had a lot to chat about! The boys and producer Mel lament losses for their Premier league clubs with shots of Malort. They discuss Klopp’s press meltdown and Graham has to accept that the spurs are good. They cracked open a special UK release of Blanton’s gold label to welcome Graham’s return to studio.

This week Graham is on special assignment but his nemesis Alan is more than welcome to sit in. The weekend didn’t give much in action but the boys still found plenty to talk about that wasn’t all Arsenal. Alan was enjoying a G&T made with Baltimore’s Shot Tower Gin while Big Sam enjoyed an old favorite of his.... oh and everyone had to do a shot of Malort!

This week the Merseyside Derby dominates the show, unfortunately most of it wasn’t about the play on the field more about the controversy surrounding it, which gets Huston a little fired up. No Malort Mel revels in being the only perfect team in the Prem and everyone has a laugh at Spurs and Chelsea. For Graham’s last studio appearance for a month the boys enjoy the newest release from WhistlePig’s Boss Hog line.

It’s international break and, spoiler alert, the boys are not a fan. The Sams air their grievances, discuss the bail out proposal, and Spicy Timmy Howard on the desk. A listener asked the question “if you were in prison, which EPL Gang would you join” and the answers will surprise you. The second hour of the show is the Drunk Sam Graham recapping all the transfers. Yup – we got him good and lubricated on craft beer and hundred proof Macallan Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
