Man City was in the driver’s seat and should have gained three points, but they couldn’t find the net again at Tottenham. Wolves and West Ham get unexpected points, and Producer Mel’s Villa fall so she joins Graham with a shot of Malört.

This week the Sam’s recap the weekend's 4th round of the FA Cup. Powerhouses Arsenal and Liverpool were eliminated this weekend as the list of Premier League Clubs grow smaller. Relegation-battling clubs Southampton, West Ham, Leeds, and Leicester all advanced over lower-league opposition. Non-League Wrexham will face a replay as they and Sheffield United drew 3-3 along with 6 other matches to be replayed. The Sam’s finish out the show catching up on some transfer news and the hiring of Sean Dyche as Everton’s new manager. The boys enjoy number 14 on Whisky Advocates top 20 of 2022 Blackened Double finished Rye.

The Premier League saw three fantastic Derbies! Sam and Sam breakdown Fulham’s win over Chelsea in the West London Derby, United's controversial win over City in the Manchester Derby, and Arsenal’s dominant victory over Spurs in the North London Derby. The bottom of the table is only separated by 2 points from 14th to 20th and Big Sam eats crow as Everton continues to implode. Huston finished a bottle of Malört to drown his sorrows.
This week’s beverage is an amazing Irish Whiskey, the 12-year from Bushmills that is number 16 in Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 from 2022.

This week the Sam’s rejoice as it is the FA Cup 3rd round. They start with a couple of non-league sides, Wrexham and Chesterfield getting results against Championship sides Coventry and West Brom (boing boing). A historic amount of premier league sides bow out of the competition with Villa and Newcastle losing to lower-level competition. That number can grow as Leeds, Liverpool and Wolves all have replays. The Whisky Advocate list continues with Indri Trini Triple cask finish from India as number 17 on the 2022 list

Arsenal draws Newcastle in a scrappy affair but still holds their lead at the top. They take a look at the bottom of the table as Wolves and Forest get out of the relegation zone.
