Wednesday Jan 24, 2024
Wednesday Jan 24, 2024
The Sam’s open with a draw at the top of the championship between Leicester and Ipswich, while Southampton is on a 20-match unbeaten streak. Leeds continues to play well but finds themselves gaining no ground as the other 3 just keep winning. Leighton Orient has beaten both 1st place Pompey and 2nd place Bolton in back-to-back games in League 1. Weather greatly impacted most of League 2’s matches, so the Sam’s catch up on the League Cup semi and he replays from the FA Cup

The Sam’s go through the first half of the spilt fixture week. Burnley are hard done by another missed VAR call. The west London derby was exciting despite the score line and Villa Everton was just scrappy. The boys have Ryan on from the American Toffee podcast to discuss Forest and Everton’s recent allegations of violations of the FFP rules. The Sam’s each enjoyed separate whiskeys from Heaven’s Door and Aberfeldy Highland Single Malt this week as the snow separated them.
Burnley 1 - Luton 1
Chelsea 1 - Fulham 0
Man City 3 - Newcastle 2
Aston Villa 0 - Everton 0
Man U 2 - Tottenham 2

Monday Jan 08, 2024
The crew got up before the sun to hang with the MobTown Magpais for New Castle's FA Cup win over Sunderland. The crowd started tense, but ended excited at the Uptown Abbey: Abbey Burger Mt.Washington, and our favorite Newcastle supporter Alan Llanes sat in with Sam Huston and Sam Graham.

Thursday Jan 04, 2024
Enjoy this free edition of Injury Time, the bonus show we create for our Patreon supporters. It's our favorite time of the year - the FA Cup!!! It's much looser than the main show, we do beer/cider reviews, check in with fantasy football, our side teams and normally we preview the weekend, but this time Sam Huston and Sam Graham are chatting about the FA Cup.
