The DUFS is back! It’s our annual “getting to know you” series, where Big Sam and Graham spend time with supporters of the newly promoted sides. Up first is Southampton with their buddy Ken (from Narnia) to talk about the quick promotion back to the Premier League. They get into the Saints new coach, players, tactics and life after JWP. The final show of the 6th season and the Sam’s open it with Man U winning the FA Cup and barely getting themselves into the Europa League. Southampton secured the final promotion spot to the Premier League as they defeated Leeds 1-0. The Sams finish the show by reviewing their preseason predictions, which never goes well. 
They enjoy Koval gin with an elderflower tonic for the final gin binge drink.

The Sam’s wrap up the EFL show for the season as Crawley Town defeated Crewe Alexandra 2-0 to gain promotion to League 1. Oxford dominated Bolton 2-0 to gain promotion to the championship for the first time in the 2000s. Isn’t there the championship playoff final between Leeds and Southampton? Yes, but the winner will be promoted to the premier league, which will be discussed on the DU Football Show next week.

It’s the final week of the season and the Sam’s break it down goal by goal as the title, Europe, and relegation are all decided. DU does English Football League: Episode 41
The championship saw two 0-0 draws in the first legs at West Brom and Norwich, now the attention goes to Leeds and Southampton. Bolton and Oxford advanced in League 1 and will face off at Wembley. League 2 see’s Crawley and Crewe Alexandra advancing as they ended Doncaster’s amazing run.

This week the Sam’s open with the battle at the top as City and Arsenal win again as it comes down to the wire. Burnley is the second club to be relegated and Luton is hanging on by a thread.
